Sam Singer was an an American animation producter and animator, to some extent. He is well known for creating some cartoon for some kid's show, but he is also known for creating the exquisite atrocity that is The Adventures of Paddy the Pelican.

Career[]

Singer was born on August 27th, 1912 somewhere in the United States, presumably. Early on in his career, Singer was an animator at Disney just when it was still getting its feet on the ground, clearly indicating that he had a hand in that company's tyranny over the mind's of children.

By the 50s, Singer was producing his own cartoons such as The Adventures of Pow Wow, Bucky and Pepito and other second-rate content. However, his worst work has to be The Adventures of Paddy the Pelican as he produced, wrote, animated and voiced the show in its entirety.

Later on, Singer would have a hand in creating the animation company, Pixar, an animation company about heart, engagement, fun and all that great stuff. Apparently, a couple of dudes couldn't see the mental director that is Singer, thinking the cartoon about an animated tuba was a bunch of pasturized cow manure, so they left and started their own animation company, that being Pixar. So much better than Paddy the Pelican bullshit.

Singer eventually died on January 25th, 2001, at the ripe old age of 88., leaving behind a legacy of insufferable cartoons and for moving animation in no new direction. That being, away from his apparent genius methods.
